His flippancy doesn't help matters at all. Feelings of horror and intense anger start to mingle in with the turbulence of emotions Goldy is experiencing right now. For the sake of the child, she's doing her best to control all of them. But, judging by the tremble of her hands, it's only a matter of time before she snaps. The only question is: in which direction.
